The Media Falls in Love with Us…
One of the comments we hear repeatedly from pharmaceutical companies or our advertising agency peers is, “Why haven’t we heard of you guys?” To date, our answer has been “Because you weren’t looking hard enough.”
Seriously though weâve been operating in stealth mode because stealth has tremendous advantages.
Now the media has started paying attention to us and we’re showing up both online and in print.
You may remember that in February, Medical Marketing & Media, one of the industryâs most prestigious publications, asked Janet Carlson, One Eleven Interactive’s C.E.O., if mobile was about to explode. “It already has,” she answered.
In August, PharmaVoice interviewed Janet on the business case for using the micro-blogging service, Twitter. She was featured along with experts from AstraZeneca, Deloitte Consulting, Ignite Health, and Novo Nordisk, among others.
MedAdNews asked Janet to look into her crystal ball and foretell the future of sampling in the year 2015. They must have liked her thinking because she ended up with a sidebar entitled, “The Future is On-Demand Samples.” The bottom line: Mobile sampling is where it is at with doctors, since 65% are carry a smartphone. Mobile gives physicians 24/7 access to your samples, coupons, vouchers and patient information.
More recently, Janet was chosen as the “Mobile Expert” for PharmaMarketer, where she is answering questions on mobile and marketing and am posting original articles. She also contributed to an article for PMA360 on mobile and the health care professional.
We’re expecting the media’s love for One Eleven Interactive will continue to grow as interest in mobile health care applications continue to explode.
